Vintage 1950s Black Velvet Swing Coat / Evening Coat Stunning deep, dark black velvet evening coat or swing coat. This unstructured coat has wonderful movement and flow when you walk. Long sleeves with side pockets. Fully lined in a lilac taffeta fabric. Shawl collar with a small tab closure at the neckline that secures with one button. Can be left open without using the button also. Beautiful coat for a special evening out. Excellent vintage condition. No issues were noted on the cape itself except for a couple of small very faint spots on the inside of the lining. This coat is being displayed on a modern size 8 dress form but should fit various sizes up to a size large.
