Vintage Hermes Constance look Handbag, Purse, Travel Bag, Made in Italy This is one of the most unique vintage purses we have seen in quite some time. We love the wonderful styling on this handbag and it is perfect for using for travel or simply running around the city. Large roomy purse will fit tons of necessary items! This handbag reminds us of the Hermes Constance style of purse due to the gilt metal "H" buckle. The only signature marking we find on this beauty is "Made in Italy". Possibly Hermes (wishful thinking!!) or Gucci?? Who knows.... but it must have been made by a fabulous designer as it is worthy of a famous signature! Many beautiful and very high quality purses are made in Italy and this one is no exception. This vintage purse is believed to be circa 1970s (but possibly 1960s) and was purchased on a trip to Europe. Dark brown supple leather with canvas fabric sides. The tan canvas is printed in a wonderful equestrian theme of saddles and horseshoes done in a dark brown shade. Large U-shaped sculptural leather handles close with the horizontal strap of leather that secures with gold-tone metal hardware. The bright gilt "H" buckle then unsnaps to open the top of the purse. Very large purse will accommodate lots of your items. The inside of the purse is fully lined in a matching dark brown supple leather. One interior side zipper pocket for smaller items, and also a small pocket below this one that holds a small mirror. The bottom of the purse has five gold-tone metal protector feet. Stamped signature to purse on the interior reads: Made in Italy. Purse measures approximately 14" wide by 18" tall and 8" deep across the bottom of the handbag. Fantastic style that is perfect for so many uses due to its wonderful larger size. Excellent vintage condition with very minimal wear.
