Vintage Pauline Trigere 1960s Gold Lace Evening Dress Here is a beautiful vintage designer dress by Pauline Trigere that is a wonderful lace fabric with gold Lurex threads accenting the floral lace design. Body of the lace is a cafe au lait color with black lace behind that and then a gold lace underneath this. We believe this is circa 1960s or possibly 1970s but it has that wonderful 50s "new look" style to it with the full skirt and fitted bodice. Trigere had a way with designing clothes in order to flatter a women's figure. Fabulous seaming on this dress slims the figure. Princess seaming details on the fitted bodice. Very flattering scalloped lace neckline treatment. Notice the seaming details at the front and back of the waistline with the "v" insert of fabric. Scalloped hemline and cuffs. Also zippers at the cuff of the sleeves for ease of dressing. Fully lined in gold silk fabric. Excellent vintage condition with the only exception being a very minor and tiny break in the outer part of the lace on the upper right shoulder.
