Vintage 1950s Champagne Satin Strapless Evening Dress Exquisite evening gown of beautiful champagne colored brocade satin fabric. Yards and yards and more yards of fabric make up this stunning and elegant dress. Perfect for that special occasion. Fitted strapless bodice is boned in front and back for support. Darts at the bustline also. Super full skirt makes a complete circle when laid out. Flattering inverted pleated waistline where the 8 gore full skirt falls from. Classic, elegant and timeless in it's design. This dress will look just as beautiful and stylish today as it did 50 years ago. No designer label found on this dress, only a vintage size 11 tag. Circa 1950s. Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noted is that there are some tiny pin holes along the very top of the bodice where the piping is. VERY hard to see and you most likely would not have even noticed it had I not mentioned it. You have to get right up into the fabric to see them. Also please note that the hem is simply basted into place and will need to be machine or hand sewn.
