Beautiful 1950s Swing Dress with Circle Skirt & Beading What an amazing vintage 50s swing dress! This beautiful dress is really stunning in person. Steel blue taffeta fabric. Beautiful neckline on this bodice is accented with amazing details. The beautifully cut out neckline frames the face with its shape and wonderful pleated fabric. At either side of the bodice near the shoulders it is decorated with silver glass bugle beads, iridescent sequins and prong set rhinestones. All hand set in a radiating outward pattern. Also notice that the edges of the area are also trimmed in the bugle beads and sequins. Beautiful when it is reflected by the light! The bodices is fitted and has princess seams below the pleated bustline. Very full huge CIRCLE skirt that is fabulous for dancing. There is an attached muslin crinoline underneath the taffeta dress. Please note that the dress was photographed with an additional crinoline that is not included with the dress. There is a side seam pocket and a matching fabric belt. Fabulous dress! No label was found on this dress. Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noticed is that the sides of the bodice appear to have been taken in at one point in time, but have been let out so the dress is back to the original side bodice seams. Very minor, but I want to mention anything that is seen for accuracy purposes. MEASUREMENTS:
