1930s Sensuous Bias Satin Dressing Robe / Gown with Lace

Here is a beautiful example of vintage lingerie at its best! This is too beautiful to hide, I believe this would also be considered a vintage Hostess Gown that was worn in the 1930s. Exquisite satin crepe back sensuous fabric that drapes every curve in the correct place and highlights what you have. Lovely peach glow shade that is very flattering. The bodice has nine tiny self covered buttons that go down the front for closure, or simply leave it open for a revealing look. Shirring across the shoulders that provides the lovely drape down the front of the bodice. Beautiful ecru lace pointed collar that also is followed around to the back of the neckline. The wonderful lace trim is repeated down the front of the bodice and also on the sleeves at the cuff. The skirt of the gown is a wrap type of closure so that it will accommodate several different figure shapes. The hem is cut on the bias and provides that wonderful puddle at your feet. Absolutely exquisite piece of vintage lingerie. Wonderful addition to a fine collection. Excellent vintage condition. Upon close inspection we only see a very tiny pull in the fabric at the shoulder and also just a couple of very small faint spots at the hemline on the back of the gown. All very minor.
