Vintage 1950's Lace Chiffon Party Cocktail Dancing Dress What a lovely soft shell pink evening, party or dancing dress this one is! This beautiful dress has a fitted bodice with princess seams and darts at the bustline for a great fit. The bodice is shell pink satin and lace that has hand applied iridescent sequins accenting the entire bodice. Notice the scalloped lace design three-quarters of the way down the bodice. Piping at the waistline with a small accent matching fabric satin bow. Super full silk chiffon over-skirt that makes a complete circle when laid out. The under-skirt is a pale pink rayon crepe skirt that is narrower than the very full chiffon over-skirt. Perfect evening dress for dancing. The soft pale shell pink dress is very feminine and the chiffon floats on air as you move. Bodice is fully lined in the same fabric as the outer skirt. Circa late 1950s to early 1960s. No designer label found - only the remnants of a paper style label at the end of the zipper. It has been beautifully made with quality detailing. Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noted upon inspection are three very, very faint tiny spots at the hemline of the chiffon skirt. These tiny spots fall into the folds of the skirt. These small faint spots should come out with a professional dry cleaning or a spot cleaning.
