Vintage 1950s Alfred Shaheen Glamourous Red Hawaiian Swim Suit What a fabulous vintage 1940s - 1950s Alfred Shaheen Hawaiian printed bathing suit / swim suit this beauty is! This bombshell pin-up beauty is in fabulous shades and tones of red. This one will have you definitely standing out from the crowd at the pool! Red cotton fabric in a fabulous vintage Hawaiian Shaheen floral print with hints of metallic gold paint that accent certain areas of the print. Bright, bold and beautiful colors to this classic Shaheen print. The fabric has nice "hand" to it and is in excellent condition. Really looks like new, don't believe it has ever been worn. The bodice is boned for support on the front and has wonderful side elastic gussets (on each side) so it will accomodate several size busts. Providing you with a perfect fit! Wonderful gentle pleated bodice with flattering princess seams. The shoulder straps are adjustable as there is a gold tone basket weave button that you can adjust for the perfect fit. There is a metal zipper down the center of the bathing suit. Underneath the suit is the matching fabric with the elastic leg openings. You will not find a more beautiful vintage Shaheen bathing suit than this one. Excellent condition. Label: HAWAII by Shaheen (with the Hawaiian crest)
