1940s Vintage Peep Toe Satin Slippers Boudoir Wedding Shoes Beautiful boudoir slippers! These beautiful slip on mules have a wonderful peep toe and a tulle netting pom-pom on the vamp. So sexy. Perfect for a trousseau! I believe that Daniel Green did his satin slippers in only SKINNER SATIN, which is THE best satin there is. These shoes are no exception, they are fantastic. They are an ivory shade of satin with a matching shade of tulle pom pom. They are lined on the inside of the shoe in the matching satin, as is the covered satin heel. They are not marked with a size, but they measure 9 1/2" from toe to heel when measured on the inside of the shoe. They are 3" at the widest point across the ball of the foot when measured on the sole. The heel is 3" high. They are in excellent condition and have been very gently worn. The soles do not appear to have been worn outside. There are a couple of small very faint age spots on the inside of the lining of the shoe. Also a couple of small very faint ones on the heels.
