Vintage 1950s Tulle Party Prom Dress with Matching Bolero / Shrug Jacket What a fabulous vintage 1950s prom or party dress this is! This wonderful confection is a beautiful shade of salmon or melon that is done in tulle and net. Very lacy and oh so pretty! Strapless bodice that has pleated tulle underneath the lace overlay. There are straps attached to the inside of the dress that you can wear if you choose to if you would like additional support. The dress is shown photographed with the straps tucked inside the bodice. There is a matching lace shrug or bolero jacket that accents the dress beautifully. The full skirt is perfect for dancing the night away. It makes a complete circle when laid out. The skirt is beautiful lace with a double tulle ruffle at the hemline. The skirt is designed with a top layer of lace, a second layer of tulle net and a third layer of the matching salmon color taffeta. Simply irresistible!! Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noted upon inspection is a very small tear in the lace near the zipper. Hard to even find this, as it falls into the folds of the dress.
