Vintage 1950s Iridescent Sharkskin Swing Party Dress Fantastic vintage swing dress in an iridescent sharkskin fabric in a beautiful rose shade. When the light hits this fabric there is a beautiful luster to the fabric. Lovely wide portrait collar with prong set rhinestone and pearl accents on each side of the collar. Also note the coordinating light pink color satin insert on the collar too. Flattering princess seaming on this dress that are very slimming. Three quarter length sleeves with turned up cuffs. Wonderful 10 gore swing skirt. Dress closes with 18 matching fabric covered buttons down the center front of the dress. Circa 1940s. Label: Carl Naftal Originals, California. Very good to excellent vintage condition. Noticed upon inspection a small pin hole (see photo) near the right front hip. Also noticed a tiny faint spot (see photo) on the back of the dress near the waist. The pin hole could be patched with a tiny bit of fabric taken from the inside of the hemline. We have not dry cleaned or spot treated the tiny spot. **Please note that the photos are showing up a little lighter than the dress actually is in person.
