Vintage 1950s Strapless Chiffon Party Evening Dress
This beautiful dress is yards and yards - and more yards - of white chiffon fabric. The skirt is huge and it makes a complete circle when laid out. If you have a special event coming up you will want to get this dress, all eyes will be on you. Would make a wonderful dress for so many special occasions - especially around the Holiday time of year! Strapless bodice is boned in the front and sides for support. Wonderful cherry red satin ribbon accents encircle the dress!!! The red ribbon stripes look spectacular when set off against the white chiffon! Each ribbon is sewn on to the top layer of the chiffon fabric. At the waist, there is a red ribbon that is attached at the back and is accented with a small red ribbon bow. Underneath the chiffon top layer on the skirt is a white taffeta lining. Underneath this is an attached spectacular white tulle crinoline. This crinoline is made up of tiers of ruffles. The dress stands out quite full with the crinoline that comes with the dress, but it has been photographed with an additional crinoline for a bit more added fullness. This other crinoline is not included with the dress. Actually you may not even want another crinoline as it is so full without an additional one. Label: Mike Benet. Excellent vintage condition.
