Beautiful Vintage Silk Crepe-De-Chine & Lace Gown Very pretty powder pink silk crepe-de-chine gown. Beautiful vintage ecru lace across the top of the bustline. Around the shoulder straps of the gown and around the arms it is trimmed in the matching lace. Another lace accent across the top of the back. There is a small bow with a tiny rosebud (faded from time) accenting the left shoulder. In the middle of the bodice are twelve small pin-tucks for decoration. At the hemline of the gown it is trimmed in the matching lace also. Because this gown is so pretty it must have been well loved by the original owner. It is in good condition, but there are a few small area where the silk fabric has thinned. If you hold it up to the light, you can see these areas in the delicate silk fabric. Fabric is still strong, simply thin in a few places. Also noticed a few very, very faint spots on the gown. You have to look very closely to see these. Even with these issues, it does not compromise the delicate beauty of this vintage gown. Label: only a faded label that is not readable.
