Beautiful 1950s Van Raalte Accordion Pleat Pink Peignoir Set Soft, feminine and flowing beautiful Van Raalte peignoir set that is absolutely stunning. We believe that this dates to the 50's or early 60s. Van Raalte made some of the most beautiful pieces of lingerie during this era. Take a step back to the past and enjoy feminity at its best with this wonderful set. The robe and gown are done in accordion pleats that provides a wonderful linear design and trick the eye to make your figure look longer and leaner. Now, what woman would not want that! The soft pink nylon chiffon robe is short sleeve with the yoke beautifully adorned in ecru lace appliqués. Two tiny self covered buttons provide closure at the neckline. The straps of the gown are soft pink velveteen and are adorned with a tiny bow where the strap meets the bodice. The bodice is entirely accented with the beautiful ecru lace appliqués and is also accented with a bow where the bodice meets the skirt of the gown. The skirt of the gown is a layer of nylon tricot with an overlayer of nylon chiffon done in the accordion pleats. Absolutely beautiful!! Excellent condition with no flaws or issues.
