Vintage 1960s Mod Floral Psychedelic Skirt
Fun and playful long maxi skirt. White cotton "waffle weave" fabric that is washed in abstract floral designs in shades of lavender, magenta, red, olive green and yellow. Great mod print that is accented with small one inch diameter pearly iridescent plastic daisy flowers. Each flower has a prong set lavender rhinestone in the center. Note that these flowers are only on the front of the skirt. I would think that is so, because when you sit down in the skirt if they were on the back they would not be comfortable. Therefore they only decorate the front. There is a large center split that is 23 inches long on the front of the skirt for ease of movement. Fun skirt for the Summer!!
Circa 1960s. Very good vintage condition. The only thing that was noted upon inspection is a small very faint spot on the front of the skirt near the left hip area. It is hard to see due to the "busy" pattern on the fabric. Would not show up on a digital photograph. Would think it should come out with a spot cleaning or dry cleaning. We have not tried to treat the small spot. Also noticed that there were a couple of rhinestone centers that were missing from the little flowers and also one or two petal missing from a couple of the flowers. Minor, but want to mention anything seen.
