Vintage 1950s Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue Lucite and Silver Metal Basketweave Handbag Beautiful vintage 1950s Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue collectible Lucite handbag with stunning silver metal basketweave base. The top of the purse is black Lucite with a matching black Lucite handle. The body is shinny silver metal that is interwoven into a basketweave pattern. Original hook and chain closure. Bottom of purse has four moulded metal protector feet. Inside the purse you will find a cherry red rayon lining with side pockets for small items such as the enclosed comb. This handbag is in excellent condition with just a few minor scratches from usual wear on the outside of the purse. No cracks or damage to this purse. Purse measures 9" wide at the widest portion of the top of the purse and tapers down to 7 1/4" wide at the base of the puurse.
