Vintage 1930s Bemberg Rayon Lilac Dress by Caldwell Casuals Fabulous "Bemberg" rayon fabric on this vintage dress! Nothing beats the feel of vintage rayon. Vintage rayon has that wonderful drape to it and this dress has that - for sure! Lovely shade of lilac with white flowers make up the print on this dress. Peek-A-Boo neckline with lattice work type design encircling the neckline and accented with a small double bow. There are five pretty lilac plastic buttons with rhinestone centers down the front of the bodice. Bodice is softly pleated for pretty drape. Ten gore skirt! Pin tucks down the front and back of the skirt. Beautiful details in this dress. Circa 1930s - 1940s. Label: Caldwell Casuals of "Bemberg" Rayon Yarn. Good vintage condition. Upon close inspection we did notice a tiny tear underneath the arm and also a 2" long tear in the fabric almost at the side seam of the skirt about 15" from the hemline. Just a few stitches and it can be easily repaired. Very small faint spot on the bodice - could easily be coverd with a brooch. Please note that this vintage garment has not been dry cleaned.
