1940s Dreamy Sheer Organdy Dress with Lace Accents Beautiful sheer & feminine vintage late 1930s to early 1940s dress that is in a VERY wearable size too! This dress is a very sheer fabric that is believed to be organdy. The pretty paisley print is done on a pale green background with hints of baby blue and rose with crème accents. Beautiful vintage lace accents this dress. The outstanding lace collar is simply beautiful and frames the face so well. This lace is repeated on the cuffs of the sleeves. There are seven faceted glass buttons down the front of the dress for closure. The bodice is softly draped and has small padded shoulders to provide definition to the figure. The skirt is a nine gore skirt and is full and very lovely. Two inverted pleats down the front of the skirt. No label was found on this dress. Excellent vintage condition, very wearable. No tears. The only thing that was noticed upon inspection is a tiny faint spot on the collar.
