Vintage 1960s GUCCI Brown Leather Handbag Purse or Travel Bag What a fantastic vintage Gucci purse this one is! Very generous size makes this purse perfect for the city as well as a great Travel Purse too! This wonderful authentic vintage Gucci handbag is believed to be circa 1960s. It is a soft, supple light brown leather with the Gucci trademark green and red stripe fabric canvas. Bright gold-tone center emblem engraved "GUCCI" accents the center of the purse. PLEASE NOTE: the gold tone emblem is not tarnished, this is a shadow in the photo. Bright gold-tone stirrup hardware attaches purse handles. There is hardware for a shoulder strap to attach to, but unfortunately we do not have the original shoulder strap with this purse. However, you can purchase a replacement shoulder strap directly from Gucci, if you would like. Zipper across the top of the purse with the original gold-tone "GG" Gucci zipper pull and embossed zipper. Four gold-tone feet on the bottom of the purse to provide protection. The inside of the handbag is lined in the Gucci "GG" printed fabric. Also one inside zipper pocket with the original Gucci embossed zipper pull. Stamped signature to purse on the interior reads: Made in Italy by Gucci 24. Purse measures approximately 14 and 1/2" wide by 11" tall and 6" deep across the bottom of the handbag. Comes with the original Gucci dust bag to keep it in pristine condition. Wonderful harder-to-find vintage style that is perfect for so many uses due to its larger size.
