Vintage 1930s 1940s Flirty Sheer Bemberg Rayon Dress by Mynette Lovely sheer, flirty little rayon dress that is perfect for the spring and summer months. Very pretty shades of greens and blues on a crème background. And in a VERY wearable LARGER size! That is so hard to find in vintage. The rounded neckline is accented with a see-thru lace mesh insert that is outlined in the rayon print fabric. Flattering two pleats run from the top of the neckline to the waistline to provide a linear visual affect. Those indispensable little "bra strap holders" are also inside the bodice. The full gored skirt is floaty and feminine and wonderful for that special flounce when you walk. There are belt loops, but no original belt. Just a perfect little summer dress in a wearable size! Good vintage condition. Upon close inspection we did notice a tiny tear underneath the arm and also a 2" long tear in the fabric almost at the side seam of the skirt about 15" from the hemline. Just a few stitches and it can be easily repaired. Label: Mynette "so wise about your size" of BEMBERG Rayon Yarn" Very good vintage condition, very wearable. The only thing that was found upon inspection were three very small holes in the rayon fabric. One 1/2" tear is on the bodice, and two (one is 1/2" and the other is 1") are in the folds of the skirt. Please for a detail of the tears in the fabric on the skirt. They could easily be mended with just a few hand stitches, but we will leave that to the new owner.
