1930s Unbelievably Glamorous Gold Satin Bias Gown

A true Hollywood Glamour Gown! This rare and stunning gown is just beautiful! Wrap yourself in the luxurious feel of this gold silk satin on your skin. Yards and yards and more yards of satin make up this beautiful gown. Deeply plunging "v" neckline with shirring at the bustline to make the most of what you have. Beautiful gathered sleeves with padded shoulders. At the cuff of the sleeve it tapers to a "v" or a point at the hand and is shirred on the underside of the sleeve at the cuff. The skirt is absolutely huge! It is cut on a large bias to provide you with fullness and that wonderful puddle of fabric at your feet. This fabric is so luxurious and sensuous it just skims over the body and flatters every curve. If you ever wanted to feel like a Hollywood movie star and was looking for THE perfect garment to make you feel that way - this is it! No label was found inside the dress. Very good vintage condition. Upon inspection we noticed that the side zipper appears to be stuck. It most likely can be repaired, but at worst case a new zipper would need to be put in. Also noticed a very tiny split in a seam at the bustline, it is about ¼ long and a ¼ tear near the cuff of the right sleeve. We are being really picky, but also noticed a couple of pulls in the satin fabric at the back of the neck. All this is minor and does not compromise the absolute beauty of this gown.
