Vintage 1950s Champagne Satin Party Dress This beautiful dress is a champagne color. This wonderful flattering color is very hot right now on the runways. Yards and yards of satin make up this dress!! Rounded neckline with box pleats all around the top of the bodice and the shoulders. Cap sleeves. Fitted bodice with princess seaming front and back for a very flattering fit. Notice the "v" at the center bottom of the waistline - front and back. Beautiful pleating at the waistline tht repeats the bodice pleat treatment. Very full skirt. This is the perfect dress for so many special occassions! This dress has just been FRESHLY PROFESSIONALLY DRY CLEANED and is ready to wear! Beautiful! Label: Youth Guild of NY Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noted is a very tiny tear /wear in the satin fabric just right above the waistline. See next to last photo detail of this area with a pen pointing to the spot. Very minor, but want to mention anything that is noted. A couple of very tiny and minor "scrapes" to the satin fabric was also noted but this is due to the nature of satin fabrics. This is consistant with satin. Believe me, nothing that detracts in any way to the beauty of this fabulous dress. I just like to mention anything seen for acuracy sake. Ready to wear - has been professionally dry cleaned!
