1940s Floral Print Bias Gown
Lovely vintage 1940s floral print gown. The cotton fabric is white with a blue-green squiggle design in the background. The flowers are purple and magenta with green and yellow accents. The bodice is feminine with its sweetheart neckline and corset type tie up the front. The sleeves have gathered ties at the cuffs. These ties can all be adjusted. Wear the corset ties open and loose for that special sexy look. Angled empire waistline that enhances the figure. Inverted V design at the back of the gown with adjustable ties. Bias cut at the hemline. Hand finished seams around neckline. Lovely vintage gown in a pretty print! No label found. Very good vintage condition with a small faint 1/2" spot on the right side of the bodice near the shoulder, and a two very small faint spots on the skirt of the gown. Noticed a very tiny 1/4" area at the back of the neckline where the fabric is a bit weak/sheer.
