Vintage 1950s Emerald Green Swing Dress with Rhinestones & Beads Fantastic shade of emerald green on this taffeta swing dress. The color of green is simply beautiful and shimmering. This is a wonderful 50s swing dress that would be great out there on the dance floor. This particular dress is one of the prettiest swing/party dresses I have seen. The bead working on the bodice neckline is stunning! I am afraid that it doesn't look nearly as beautiful in the photos as it actually does in person. The contrast of the silver bugle beads, crystal seed beads, iridescent sequins and sparkly prong set rhinestones against the rich emerald green fabric is simply stunning! (The dress is shown photographed with a crinoline underneath which is not included with this dress.) Fitted bodice with princess seams and scoop neckline. The huge, full skirt is wonderful. It makes a complete circle when laid out. This is THE perfect dance dress in the most perfect color. Matching original belt included with dress. The taffeta and bead work shimmer in the light. This will be a beauty on the dance floor!! Label: Manhattan Lady. Excellent vintage condition. The only issue on the dress is a minor one - the zipper is off the track just at the very top of the dress. Possibly it can be repaired, if not it can easily be replaced. Circa 1950s.
