Vintage 1950s Black Crepe Draped Cocktail Dress Fabulous, sexy cocktail dress with that Ceil Chapman draped "look". No Ceil label, but it is very similar in design feel. Deep, dark black fabric - the photos have been lightened to show you the drape details of the design. But it is dark black in person. (Photo number 2 shows more of the true black color) Crepe fabric that is believed to be a rayon is wraped across the bustline and drapes beautifully. Fluid skirt flows from the waistine and also has a drape down the left side of the hip on the dress. Three-quarter length sleeves. Very feminie and elegant. Timeless in its styling. The dress is a semi-sheer fabric (unlined) and was photographed with a black vintage slip underneath. This slip does not come with this dress, but is available for sale under our "lingerie" shopping section. Perfect dress for an evening of cocktails or a special occassion. Classic "little black dress" that goes anywhere! Label: No label was found. Circa late 1940s - early 1950s. Excellent condition. No issues were noted upon our inspection. Beautiful!!
