GLAMOROUS 1930s SHEER GEORGETTE GREEK REVIVAL GOWN What an absolutely stunning vintage gown or peignoir. A beautiful 1930s gown that is done in a Greek revival style with its wonderful draped fabric. This beauty is a sheer rayon georgette and has the most wonderful drape to it. The drape of the fabric is very slimming to the figure as the eye tends to follow the linear look to the design. Deep, sexy plunging neckline that flows into the "V" lace insert at the waistline. The see-through lace is over the waistline and the bust. Deep "V" back. The sleeves are superb, they have wonderful drape that extends over the shoulders and down the back. The sleeves are trimmed in the matching lace, as is the hemline. The sewn in label is "Dream-Glo" and the fabric is "Bemberg" rayon yarn. There are four tiny shell buttons on the left side of the gown for closure. This gown is actually too pretty for the bedroom!! It needs to be seen! Very good vintage condition, very wearable. I did not see any spots on this gown, but I did see one small 1/2" long tear near the hemline. Also just a couple of "weak" spots in the lace on the side near the buttons. Very minor. Price: Order Item Number: 0000-71
