Here is another example of her wonderful designs using draped bodices, pleats and tucks. This stunning blue watercolor cotton fabric is just so feminine. Exactly the type of look that Ceil Chapman was famous for. The neckline is scooped front and back for a face framing flattering look. The bodice is draped and tucked and has four bones inside the bodice for support. This technique is continued onto the skirt where the fabric is pleated into a very flattering soft and feminine shape. The dress is fully lined. Excellent condition with no flaws or issues found.
