Rare - Carolyn Schnurer 1950s Copper Strapless Dress with Wrap This is a very RARE and hard to find dress by the famous American fashion designer Carolyn Schnurer. The sewn in label says "Designed by Carolyn Schnurer for you". This is a stunning dress! Perfect for the pool or the party. The bodice is strapless with four bones for support. Fitted bodice with princess seams. There is a side metal zipper. Large inverted pleats on the skirt. There is a matching cape or wrap that is included with this dress. It is lovely, however it looks like it was unfinished for some odd reason. It needs to have the lining finished. Not quite done. It makes a stunning accessory to the dress! Great for those movie star entrances!! We believe the fabric to be a cotton sateen. Wonderful rare piece to add to a vintage collection! Excellent condition. SOLD Order Item Number: 0000-74
