Vintage 1950's Novelty print Butterfly Dress Fabulous large scale butterfly novelty print on this vintage 50s shirtwaist dress. Lightweight crepe fabric (rayon or nylon?) with a crème color background that is printed in beautiful brushstroke shades of salmon, pale pink and golden olive green. Small peter pan collar. Five buttons down the center front of bodice for closure. Darts at the bustline for a nice fit. Short sleeves with turned up cuffs. Super full, knife pleat skirt. Belt loops, but no original belt.
