1930s Fashion Originators Guild Dress Wonderful floral print is done on a background of mocha colored rayon fabric with the flowers in rust, taupe and chocolate brown. The rounded neckline is pleated in the center and the pleats radiate over the center of the bodice. Softly padded shoulders and 3/4 length sleeves. It is hard to tell in the photos but at the waistline there is a "V" insert on the skirt with two gathered pockets on either side of the "V" design. The gored skirt is feminine and provides some nice flounce as you walk. Really a super dress, that unfortunately the photos do not do justice to. Label: "An Original Design Registered By A Member Of The Fashion Originators Guild" #4034. Excellent vintage condition, very wearable. The only issues found being a very small one inch seam that is loose and could use re-stitching and two small pin holes on the bodice in the folds of the pleats. SOLD Order Item Number: 0403-40
