Vintage 1940s Black Satin Evening Handbag or Clutch Purse Lovely vintage 1940s black satin evening bag that is perfect for that special occasion. Loop handle slips through the loop on the purse for closure. Unstructured handbag opens wide to provide lots of space for your necessary items. The interior is fully lined in the matching black satin fabric and also has two side pockets to hold smaller items. Large matching fabric bow accents the front of the purse along with a small sparkly rhinestone button. Lovely little evening purse that can be worn looped over the hand/arm or worn as a simple clutch purse. Purse measures approximately 9 and 1/2" wide by 15" tall -including the handle- and 4" deep across the bottom of the handbag. Excellent vintage condition. The only thing we noted upon inspection is that the rhinestone accent can use just a few stitches to make it sit tighter against the body of the purse.
