ROMANTIC VINTAGE 1920s STYLE RAYON DRESS from PARIS What a beautiful sheer black rayon embroidered dress this is! I was told by the original owner that this was purchased in a little French boutique in Paris many years back. At first we thought that it was a vintage dress, but upon further examination, it is believed to be done in a "vintage style". It has the feel of the 1920s to the style but we think it is possibly a contemporary dress from the late 80s to early 90s. Sheath like dress with a loose fit to it. In the fourth photo it is shown tied with a matching rayon black belt (not included with this dress) to show you what it looks like belted. It is pretty either way - loose or belted. Very sheer rayon fabric that has lovely drape to it. Deep "V" neckline that is scalloped and decorated around the neckline with the pretty embroidered flowers. The flowers have a lace insert for their centers. The short sleeves are scalloped as is the beautiful hemline. The hemline also has the matching embroidery like the neckline but it is around the entire hemline. No zipper or buttons; simply slips over the head. A beautiful vintage style dress that is incredibly feminine and very romantic. Match this up with a lovely black vintage slip and it makes a wonderful evening dress. Excellent vintage condition, very wearable. No stains or spots. The only thing noticed was underneath the right arm the seam could use a little bit of reinforcement. Very minor and it is only a small 1/2" area. Label: "100% Rayonne, Nettoyage a sec"
