Vintage 1940s Slinky Rayon Swing Dress w Rinhinestones What a fabulous slinky midnight black rayon crepe swing dress! This 1940s beauty skims over the figure and has wonderful drape. And it is in a VERY wearable size. Please note that the photos have been lightened to show you the dress details. It is a rich, dark black shade in person. Short sleeves, rounded neckline with a loop and button closure at the back of the neck. Darts underneath bustline for fit and softly padded shoulders. There is also a side metal zipper for closure. The bodice is accented with three "crescent moon" designs in sparkly prong set rhinestones. Also single rhinestones are scattered about the rest of the dress front and back. These are all prong set also. At the waistline is a matching fabric rayon crepe sash to cinch your waistline. The skirt is perfect for dancing the night away - wonderful flounce! Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was found was one tiny pin hole on the back of the skirt. Hard to even see, especially as you will most likely wear a black (vintage!) slip underneath as the rayon is a tad bit sheer. The only label found in the dress is a paper style/size tag.
