1940s Stunning Black Crepe with Illusion Lace & Beading What an absolutely stunning evening dress this is! Beautiful nude illusion lace over the shoulders, around the back, on the sleeves and down the middle of the bodice. What a elegant look this provides. The lace is trimmed in black bugle beads around the neckline and over the bust and has a beautiful floral beaded accent in the middle of the bodice. This is designed with the black bugle beads and black seed beads. The black crepe fabric drapes on the figure beautifully and provides that wonderful silhouette. The waistline is accented with a flounce scarf that has more of the exquisite beading and black illusion lace decorating it. If that were not enough, the design is complimented with the wonderful draping of the crepe fabric at the hipline! Simply an absolutely gorgeous cocktail or evening dress to wear for that very special occasion. And in a very wearable size! The embroidered label is from "A Fashion of Renown". Excellent vintage condition, very wearable. The only issue we noticed was a small hole in the lace on the back of the shoulder and also a small 1/2" seam on the back of the dress near the hip that could use reinforcing.
