Vintage 50s Chiffon Brocade NEW LOOK Dress This dazzling & beautiful creation is constructed with a full, flowing black silk chiffon skirt & a small tulle crinoline underneath for fullness. (please note that the dress is photographed with an additional crinoline that is not included) Exquisite brocade fitted bodice that is done in gold and silver metallic threads in a floral pattern. Very beautiful as it stands out from the black background. Also note the slimming waistline accent which is the 5" wide cummerbund type accent that is edged top and bottom with black chiffon piping. The full and flowing skirt falls from the waistline to provide a swingy skirt. A beautiful party or cocktail dress! Excellent vintage condition. The only thing that was noticed upon inspection is that the tulle crinoline is coming away from the body of the dress. You could simply sew it back in, or just simply remove it as you most likely will wear a fuller crinoline anyway. Very minor, but I just want to mention anything that is seen for accuracy.
