Vintage 1950s Couture Silk Watercolor Floral Cocktail Dress Absolutely exquisite 1950s silk cocktail dress done in muted soft shades of green, rose, blue and violet. Beautiful fabric! The label on this dress is "Anne Lise - Madrid" and it is of couture quality in its design detail. There is a tremendous amount of hand finishing on this garment. The inside of the bodice has corset type construction but has no boned stays. There is even a matching fabric covered drapery type weight that is on the inside middle of the bodice at the lining to provide the correct "hang" to the dress. That will tell you what type of design details have gone into the construction of this beauty. Fully lined. This is THE perfect dress for any special occasion.
